Trisha Cornwell
Trisha is the founder and principal consultant of Capacity. With 20 years of leadership experience in the social sector, she brings a wealth of knowledge, skills and relationships to every engagement.
Trisha started her career in 2006 as a bilingual fourth grade math teacher in Houston Independent School District through Teach For America. Over the course of her career she has led teams in large traditional public school districts, charter management organizations, and most recently, she served as the CEO of EMERGE, a Houston-based college access non-profit that scaled from start-up to 6MM+ under her leadership.
Trisha has deep expertise in non-profit management, program design, fundraising, marketing, strategic planning, and talent operations.
Since launching in 2022, the Capacity team has worked with more than 30+ organizations across the country from New York City to San Francisco.
Trisha holds a BA in Education Policy and Advertising from Syracuse University, and an MBA from Rice University. She was named 40 under 40 by the Houston Business Journal, and a Rising Star by Texas Executive Women.
In her free time, Trisha enjoys traveling, photography and spending time with her daughter, Noa.

Rachel Bonds
Senior Consultant: Talent & Operations
For 15 years, Rachel has led strategy, operations, talent, and DE&I work across the venture capital, technology and nonprofit sectors.
She is a brilliant strategist with an eye for efficiency and operations. Her empathetic approach to leadership positions her as a skilled thought-parter with an unparalleled ability to drive outcomes and accountability.
Over the course of her career, she has served as a Chief of Staff at Teach For America, the head of Google’s Program Management Office and most recently Vice President of DEI at Insight Partners, Venture Capital firm.

Whitney Gouche
Senior Consultant, Program Strategy
Whitney joins the Capacity team as a Senior Consultant focused on clients in the non-profit space.
She formally served as the Vice President of Program at EMERGE, a college access and success organization in Houston, Texas where she managed a team of 30+ employees, 5 school district partnerships, and a $3 million dollar operating budget.
She is highly skilled at program evaluation and design, data strategy, technology implementation, strategic planning and building team culture.
Whitney hold a BA from UCLA and a Masters from the University of Pennsylvania.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, visiting new restaurants, and traveling the world. In 2023, she spent time in France, Switzerland & Bali.

Sarah Cottone
Senior Consultant, Communications
Sarah is a content marketing and communications consultant who supports small teams that need an extra set of hands to tackle strategy, writing, or editing. Sarah brings a decade of writing experience, including seven years spent at fast-paced marketing and public relations agencies. Before that, Sarah worked as a journalist reporting on topics such as microgrids in the Faroe Islands and linguistics in New Zealand. She holds a Master's in Journalism from Northwestern and a Bachelor's from the University of Virginia.

Hadiya Culbreath
Hadiya is an enthusiastic Project Operations Associate with a passion for community-uplifting work. Graduating from the University of Southern California with a Health and Human Sciences degree with an emphasis in Psychology, Hadiya possesses a deep understanding of human behavior and interpersonal dynamics, which she leverages to facilitate effective project management and team collaboration. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their new puppy, Sirius, exploring the city's parks and food trucks. With a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, Hadiya aims to make a significant impact in her field and beyond.
